So good news:

1) Got the job in today so sheikhs #34 is in the can.
2) have contracts lined up through August

The Bad news:

1) To keep medicaid eligible, I have to stay around 16,000 dollars in official on the record/taxed income this year
2) By August after the next three contracts pay out, I'll be at 15,900

Solution
1) Fall - need to up my under-the-table income from tutoring for college essays, acting as a virtual assistant, and also being a freelance proofreader and developmental editor.

I suppose it wouldn't be an option if instead of you doing more contracts for Sheiks, your mother happened to also be really good at ghost writing. Surely the IRS wouldn't expect a mother to pay her daughter if you wanted to offer her some...advice.

All good ideas. It's exciting to have that experience and recommendations to even be able to put together such a site.

About your mom and Sheiks, I wasn't seriously suggesting she write them, lol. Yikes, I can't even imagine my mother reading them. I was joking about other methods of keeping your reported income under a certain level, since if she "wrote" them, the checks would come in her name. But my joke wasn't very clear....or funny. I have that problem occasionally, lol.
